Germination time: 14–21 days
Position: Full sun to partial shade, moist, acidic, well-drained soil
Days till maturity: 90–120 days

Growing instructions:
Sow seeds on the surface of moist, acidic soil, without covering them, as they need light to germinate. Keep the soil consistently moist, and provide plenty of sunlight (around 6 hours per day) for best growth. Drosera capensis can be grown in containers with a mix of sphagnum moss and sand. Water with distilled water or rainwater, as tap water may contain minerals that harm the plant. Once established, the plant will produce sticky dew on its leaves to trap and digest insects.
